We went back to the ‘90s with this design to celebrate Nittany Lions football’s incredible 1994 season. The 1994 Penn State team went undefeated on the year, plowing through Big Ten competition in only their second year as a conference member. In the eyes of the Nittany Lions faithful, of course, the Big Ten champions should have earned the national title. However, Nebraska leapfrogged them in polling at the end of the regular season, leaving the national championship decision out of Penn State’s hands.
